I received my monthly 'alumni connection' email this morning, and found this bit of comforting news - http://www.bucknell.edu/x63500.xml. I'm glad my peers are enjoying a median starting salary of $55,800. Hooray for engineering and management majors! You're all probably earning way more than 55k, but people like me who have earned about $400 this year really throw off the numbers. I'm sorry I've ruined another statistic for you.
Right now, my sole source of income is this blog, but I have yet to earn the equivalent of a large jug of Carlo Rossi. If you're curious, it costs $10.25 at Winco and $10.47 at Walmart. Comparison shopping is important and all responsible adults do it.
